
Salatiel, real name Salatiel Livenja Bessong, is a Cameroonian artist who in 2019 collaborated with Beyoncé on the track ‘Water’ featuring Pharrell Williams.
This singer, songwriter, composer, music producer, and head of his own Alpha Beta Records, is multitalented and has been on the music scene for close to a decade and has released hits like ‘ça se passe ici’, ‘Toi & Moi’, and ‘Anita’, which saw him awarded ‘Best Male Artist’ in Central Africa at the AFRIMA Awards in 2019.
He has also produced hits for artists including Mr. Leo, Daphne, and many more, with creativity and touch that has helped shape the new Cameroonian sound of which he is a leading ambassador.
His debut full-length album ‘Africa Represented’ released February 26, 2021, is a mixture of African rhythm and reggae dancehall, and a designated party starter that will also awaken your conscious, and features Locko, Mr. Leo, Aveiro Djess, Sauti Sol, Teni, Stonebwoy, Rutshelle Guillaume, and more.
