Bucie ties the knot with Sheer Publishing

BucieBusisiwe Nolubabalo Nqwiliso AKA Bucie was born in Kimberly and raised in Klerksdorp; North West where she discovered what will be known to the world as an Angelic Voice. Music has always flowed in her veins and like breathing she hits the high notes with everything she has got. Her journey began when she sang in the Sunday school choir at the tender age of 7 which got her serious attention for her God given talent.

In 2005, she did the Soul City soundtrack auditions and ended up singing and dancing in the Chicco Twala produced group Maubani. 2006, she also participated on the June 16 Youth project that was organised by the highly respected, Duma kaNdlovu and on this project she had an opportunity to share the stage with top music acts such as Judith Sephuma, Tshepo Tshola, Sbongile Mngoma, Arthur Mafokate and Thembisile Mntaka cementing what was already known as a legend in the making. ‘Turn Me On’ was the first song she wrote herself and got a chance to collaborate with the mythological DJ and producer Black Coffee. The song immediately sky rocketed and received a massive response across the borders branching into USA and United Kingdom.

In 2009 the song reached no 1 downloaded song on Traxsource earning both artist’s a name and respect around the world on the House music scene. Just when the world was trying to find their feet with this princess, in 2011 she again released another hit titled ‘Superman’ with Black Coffee which went on to become a national anthem on dance floor and was pumped by DJs in their booths.

The pressure and demand of this songstress then lead up to the release of her debut album titled Princess Of House in 2011,she received more attention overseas than at home and found herself as travelling as her compelling music hypnotizes and leave her fans wanting more.
Her hit single ‘Get Over It’ on the album is a classic song which could be heard hummed and sung by all ages groups and genders when wanting to get a point across, she then shook the ground with Induku’Entle showing her traditional and softer side.
She has been nominated for the South African Music Awards, The Metro FM Awards, Channel O Awards and has performed with the who’s who in the entertainment industry.

In 2012 she recorded a song with internationally acclaimed producer and DJ, Louie Vega on Angels Are Watching. This was another milestone reached for her as he is one of the most respected musical geniuses in the world. Fast forward in 2013 she dropped another massive hit Easy To Love where she featured Heavy K, the song has been climbing charts and has claimed the number one spot on various stations across Africa.

She released her album titled Princess of House ‘Easy to love’ in 2014 which won her a SAMA Award in 2015 for Female artist of the year. In 2016, she released her latest single ‘Rejoice’ ft. Black Motion which was well received and is evident by the number of views the music video has reached, with over a million views and still growing every day. She is currently in studio finishing off her new album dropping soon. She is currently in studio working on her new album that will drop toward end of 2016 or early 2017
