Percy Nkosi, also known as GS Musiq, is a vocalist, rapper, songwriter, guitarist, drummer, and a multi-talented artist in any genre. Music has been part of his life since childhood, and he was part of the school choir throughout his school years. 2020 marked 10 years that he has been living and working as an independent, professional musician.
He has performed at many venues and events including The Arnold Classic Africa 2019, Rooftop at Ellis Park, The Avenues and Palms Springs, KasiFM and EkFM for Asambe ke afternoon drive (Tribute to Brenda Fassie), Sunday morning edition and at Bahamas KwaThema as well as numerous local gigs around the East Rand.
He has a few music videos out on YouTube and two of them, “Master” and “Pressure” are currently on rotation on Channel O, both music videos were also on Cape Town TV and made the top ten playlist.
His EP entitled ‘The Pledge’ and his singles are on all the digital stores online including his most recent release ‘Smooth Operator’ available to download on Slikouronlife, Soundcloud as well as streaming on all digital stores.
His goal is to use his musical gift as a tool to reach out to everyone across the world and change their lives, saying that “Music is Me, and I Love Me!”
