Feb 10, 2015

South Africa’s very own Wouter Kellerman has lead South Africa to the 2015 Grammy Awards, and brought back with him a feeling of “National Pride” as he along with Ricky Kej took the Best New Age Album trophy at this year’s 57th Grammy Awards at the Staples Center on Sunday, in Los Angeles.

What started as Tribute to Nelson Mandela and Mahatma Ghandi turned into a celestial journey through the infinite acoustic world of Music. A 120 piece band , recorded over five continents, as a collaboration between South Africa and India, is what landed Kellerman and Ricky the most prestigious Award the music industry has to offer. “Winds of Samsara” is an album of peace and tranquility as it forges images of Heavens, lit up with the Moon’s radiance showering its luminating light on all those with an ear to listen.

This grounding breaking body of work features the like of Ciro Hurtado, Vanil Veigas, Cochin Chamber and Gayathri Suresh to name only a few. Sunday proved to be a truly memorable moment for Kellerman as he became an inductee of highly sort after award of which only a handful of musicians will ever win.

Sheer Publishing is extremely proud to represent Wouter Kellerman and we congratulate him on this amazing achievement.
