The Metro FM Music Awards are back and it’s time to celebrate the incredible talent within the South African music space. This year, the Sheer family has been earmarked for several awards, including the likes of KO, Brenda Mtambo, Nomfumdo Moh, Kwesta, and KingDMusic.

From Song of the Year to Best Female Artist, the Sheer family is well-represented in the nominations. Mr. Cashtime, KO, is up for six awards, including Best Male Artist and Best Hip Hop Artist, while Brenda Mtambo is nominated for Best Afrosoul-Pop and Best Female Artist. Nomfumdo Moh is also in the running for Best Female Artist, while Kwesta is nominated for Best Duo and KingDmusic for Best Gospel Album.

The awards ceremony will take place at the Mbombela Stadium on May 6th, so get ready to cheer on your favorite artists and celebrate the incredible music that South Africa has to offer!
