South African Rapper, Siya Shezi, has recently joined Sheer Publishing.
His music is inspired by life and the community surrounding him, focusing on social issues and events happening around him. He acts as a narrator, representing the voice of the ghetto, a theme evident in all his previous works.
He has successfully secured spots on various shows and festivals, such as “The Arts in Soweto,” “Back to the City Festival,” and “Street Pop,” sharing the stage with esteemed artists like Sis’ Simphiwe Dana, 340 ml, Emdee, Last Days Fam, DJ Zakes, Maseven Opse, Noks Matchbox, Die Antwoord, and more. He has also performed with a live band alongside Tumi and the Volume at Thesis Social Jams in Soweto.
