Sandile Mgcina is an all-round keyboard player and a songwriter for both gospel and secular music. He traveled the world as a keyboard player and musical director for big names and upcoming artists in the industry since 2002.
He is experienced in doing live performance, studio work and has also worked as a musical director and a founder of two theatre productions namely Faith Takes Time and Talk To Me, in partnership with Jo’burg theatre.
He started his musical journey with the likes of the late Vuyo Mokena, Avante and Benjamin Dube in the gospel circles and also the likes of Siphokazi, Kwela Tebza and Ringo Madlingozi to name a few.
He has written songs for the modern generation, namely Sipho Ngwenya, Tebello Sukwene, Ntokozo Mbambo, Xolani M, Elle Tisane, Xoli Thabethe and many others in the gospel industry.
He continues being a sought-after songwriter of our time, he is about to release his body of work as a songwriter accompanied by an arsenal of great singers in the country currently.
