Sheer at the South African Music Awards #SAMA25

Jun 5, 2019

This past weekend, our very own Mpumi Phillips (Head of Creative) and Karabo Motijoane (General Manager) were invited to sit as part of a panel of industry experts at this year’s South African Music Awards Master Class Workshop.

The Workshop aimed to engage on a number of issues pertaining to the music industry currently. These topics included:
• Entertainment Copyright Law & Amendment Bill. “Protecting your craft”
• The new transformation of Music Distribution, the digital transformation
• Where’s the money at?
• Being a brand and packaging your music.

On another, exciting, note; we’re very excited to celebrate some of the Sheer family who walked away with awards at this year’s ceremony.
