A highlight of watching this year’s Metro FM Awards was seeing new Sheer Publishing member Solly Mahlangu winning “Best Gospel Album”.
Pastor Solly Mahlangu served in ministry for over 20 years as a worship leader and music director and ended up as a national music director at Victory Fellowship Church under the leadership of Dr MA Maphalala. He travelled extensively in the continent of Africa training leaders in their countries. He became a professional musician in 1991 and has since released four albums.
Pastor Solly Mahlangu established and founded a church in Tembisa called Word Praise Christian Centre International, which has become one of the fastest growing churches in the area.
