Six African stars joined together to pay tribute song to Nelson Mandela, the eve of Nelson Mandela International Day Saturday, July 18.
The song, titled “Viva Mandela, Tata Madiba” was orchestrated by Runtown (Nigeria), Wax Dey (Cameroon), Cassper Nyovest (South Africa), Simphiwe Dana (South Africa), Banky W (Nigeria) and Shaydee ( Nigeria).
“Viva Mandela” is currently available on MTN Musique Plus and also in South Africa via MTN callertune.
The official release is set for Saturday, July 18 on iTunes worldwide, and all platforms MTN throughout Africa.
Part of the proceeds will go to charity in order to contribute to the welfare and well-ease those living in need.
The artists will gather for an exclusive performance in Johannesburg Friday, July 17, 2015, for this tribute as described above and will be broadcast live on MTN Music Plus, at 11 am 11AM – 3PM (10:00 to 2:00 p.m. CAT).
