Sheer Publishing would like to extend a big congratulations to all the winners of the 15th Metro FM Music Awards.
Nkosinathi Mankayi walked away with the Best African Pop Album Award for ‘Buyelekhaya’. This should come as no surprise to anyone especially seeing how this album went platinum only within a month and a half of its release. This is definitly an accolade the Eastern Cape born star deserves especially seeing that it is only a hand full of South African artists whose albums have reached such heights in just a matter of weeks after being released.
The Dare to Dream first prize winner also took home much acclaimed Song of The Year Award for ‘Nomvula’. Having attained such success in such a short period of time, one can’t help but think that he is reaching for heights higher than the stars.
The man who single handedly accomplished to #FillUpTheDome walked away with the Best Male Album Award for ‘Refiloe’. Yet another accomplishment for Cassper Nyovest to add to what must be a very prestigious trophy case.
Best Kwaito Album was awarded to Dj Bongz.
The choir that was made to transform the way in which South Africans- particularly the younger generation- see gospel music, walked away with the Best Urban Gospel Album for ‘True Worship 2015 (Live)’ Another well-deserved award for Worship House no doubt about that.
